Hornets Knock Off Sting at Hornets Field
The Bethesda Hornets got a strong performance from pitcher Gabriel Martínez, who stymied the Houston offense en route to a 4-2 win at Hornets Field. Hiroshi Nagasawa earned the save, his 15th. The third-place Hornets raised their record to 27-20.

Susumu Yamamoto gave Bethesda a good at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run to help send Bethesda to the win.

Martínez attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
