Melgaza Stars in Frosties Win

The Barrow Frosties beat the Stroudsburg Shade, 12-6, at Tim Raines Stadium. The Frosties got a fine performance from right fielder José Melgaza, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 3 walks, while scoring 5 times and driving in 2. Barrow has now reeled off 6 straight wins.
Melgaza made an early impact for Barrow when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the second, put the Frosties on top, 4-2.
