Mustangs Slip Past Nichols, 5-4

The San Angelo Mustangs walked off with a big win today at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.
San Angelo rode a decent outing from starter Cliff McDaniel to victory over the Nichols Gnats at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. The final score was 5-4. The Mustangs, at 26-16, lead by one game in their division.
Kazuaki Kishi was the walk-off hero for San Angelo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mustangs second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Exhilarating win," said Kishi.
