Gnats Squelch Mustangs Offense in Shutout Win
Nichols right-hander Soo-yeon Suh was sensational in shutting out the San Angelo Mustangs, 6-0. Suh got the win, improving to 1-4. He allowed 9 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Suh allowed no earned runs. The Gnats raised their record to 12-32.

Kakuro Tanaka aided the Nichols cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the second. For the game, the catcher was 1-4 with a double.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Tanaka told the Nichols Daily News.
