In a low-scoring game between the Nichols Gnats and the Boise Bloodhounds, pitcher Victor Saenz was masterful on the mound. The Nichols left-hander was named the player of the game in Nichols's 1-0 win. Arturo Gallegos closed the door for Nichols, picking up his 1st save of the year. Nichols is now 11-31.
