Houston second baseman Toshio Matsuzaki picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Tree City Black Squirrels, 6-5. Houston is 18-23 and Tree City, with the loss, 27-17.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the 11th, until Matsuzaki delivered big-time for Houston, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Bruce Cunningham. The game-changing hit put the Sting on top, 6-5.

In postgame remarks, Matsuzaki simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
