Though he had a great game, Victor Davila could not single-handedly produce a win for Kingwood. Chippewa won the game, 4-2. Davila was named the player of the game. He went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Brad Ide earned the save for Chippewa, his 10th. Chippewa bumps their record to 26-15 with the win.

Luis Alvarez helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run home run. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, River Chiefs.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Alvarez. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
