Princes Go Down to Defeat, 8-4
|
Miguel Rosero left his imprint on the 8-4 Westside win against the Bel Air Princes. Rosero, who is tied for 4th in the AHL in hits with 47, was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The winner was Mike Godin in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Alex Nambo took the loss. The Princes, at 12-28, have lost 5 in a row.
Late-game drama came in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Westside center fielder John Tharpe hit a run-scoring single, helping his team get the win.
"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Rosero told the Westside Bulletin.
