The Boise Bloodhounds overcame a good performance by New Orleans second baseman Chu-yong Che to knock off New Orleans, 8-5, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Che was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Even with the win, the Bloodhounds have a dismal 12-26 record.

Also making an impact was left fielder Omar McKoy, who drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Bloodhounds. For the game, McKoy went 1 for 4.

"We'll enjoy this win," said McKoy. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
