Westside and Houston met at Road Warriors Field in front of a lively crowd.

Westside third baseman Li-xue Liu had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 9-3 win over the Houston Sting. The win puts the Road Warriors at 22-13, while the Sting drop to 14-21.

Also making an impact was first baseman John Corkum, who drilled a grand slam home run in the bottom of the first inning for the Road Warriors. For the game, Corkum went 1 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Liu.
