The drakkar was the site for Lyman Bostock League action featuring the New Orleans Jedi Knights and Victoria Vikings.
The Victoria Vikings got a stellar performance from pitcher Pancho Meléndez, who handcuffed the New Orleans offense en route to a 5-2 win at The drakkar. Victoria has now won 3 in a row.
Victoria took the lead with one out in the bottom of the first when Mike Brockett stroked a run-scoring double. That made the score 1-0 in favor of Victoria. For the day, Brockett went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Victoria manager Bernardo Moreno.
