Mustangs Edge Bloodhounds, 3-2
|
Though he had a great game, Josh Tatham could not single-handedly produce a win for Boise. San Angelo won the game, 3-2. Tatham was named the player of the game. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. San Angelo reliever Dan Garcia picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Andres Morales was collared with the loss. The Bloodhounds, at 10-25, have stumbled out of the gate.
A decisive at-bat came in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the bases loaded, the batter, Raymond Spurrell, drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-2, San Angelo, and helped them go on to win.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," Spurrell said.
