The Charleston Panthers used an offensive barrage to beat the Kingwood Knights, 10-0, at Stable Park. Augusto Reyes led the way, going 2-for-4 for Charleston. Freddy Aguilar, the winner, improved to 3-1. He held Kingwood to no earned runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. With the win, Charleston pushes its record to 16-16.

Reyes had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Panthers went on to win.

Kingwood manager Barry Bowman called the blowout loss "ugly."
