Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Raymond Spurrell, the San Angelo Mustangs defeated the Victoria Vikings, 4-3. Spurrell went 2-4 with 2 home runs for the Mustangs. With the win, San Angelo goes to 18-12.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Spurrell hit a fastball from Gang Niu for a solo home run. The Mustangs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Spurrell described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
