The Westside Road Warriors defeated the Bethesda Hornets, 8-4, in Donnie Moore League action at Hornets Field, with Westside pitcher António Aguilar named player of the game. The Road Warriors raised their record to 20-12.

The Road Warriors used some clutch hitting to beat the Hornets, a good example being the at-bat of Rich Nightingale in the top of the fourth. With two down, Nightingale gave his team the lead, 2-1, when he hit a run-scoring double.

Nightingale told a Westside Bulletin reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
