Black Squirrels Keep Streak Alive With 3-1 Win
|
Tree City got an elite performance from starting pitcher Ryan Davis in taking a 3-1 decision over the Eugene Emeralds. Tree City has now won 9 games in a row.
Also making an impact was center fielder Nacho Cruz, who drilled a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning for the Black Squirrels. For the game, Cruz was 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I like the roll we're on," said Tree City manager James Lee.
