Bloodhounds Losing Streak at 10 After Extra-Inning Loss to Warriors

Winfield Warriors starter Pedro Luna was in fine form against the Boise Bloodhounds at Grand Canyon Valley Park, leading his team to a 6-3 win. Winfield reliever Scott Ray picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Dave Castro was saddled with the loss. Boise, at 9-23, is off to a poor start in 2032.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With two out, Tetsuhiro Morita hit a 0-1 fastball from Dave Castro for a 3-run home run. It put Winfield in front, 6-3.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Nick Brown. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
