Knights Saddle Panthers with 6-2 Loss
The Charleston Panthers and Kingwood Knights were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Stable Park.

Behind a solid performance from shortstop Victor Davila, the Kingwood Knights defeated the Charleston Panthers, 6-2. Davila was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Knights. With the win, Kingwood improves its record to 14-15.

Phil Morgan had a big 2-run double for the Knights in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Kingwood leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from Steve Gould and stroked the double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 4-1.

"We had a nice day," said Kingwood skipper Barry Bowman.
