Ross Allan could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his So Cal Republic lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Portland Beavers at House of the Republic. Félix Reina earned the win for Portland. He lasted 7.1 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 8 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 2-0. Anuvaha Tasha delivered a big hit for the Beavers. The veteran third baseman belted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh. The longball put Portland on top, 3-0. Overall, Tasha was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
