Knights Walk Off with Win
The Kingwood Knights did just enough to sneak past the Barrow Frosties, 5-4, at Stable Park. Kingwood catcher Roberto Vargas earned player of the game honors. Kingwood reliever Takuya Funaki was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Broderick Young took the loss. With the win, Kingwood elevates its record to 13-15.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Kingwood first baseman Phil Morgan, facing Broderick Young, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Knights the 5-4 win.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Morgan said.
