In a low-scoring tilt between the Barrow Frosties and the New Orleans Jedi Knights, Mauro Rodríguez was the difference-maker. The Barrow right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. Losses have been few and far between for the Jedi Knights so far this season. Their record drops to 17-8.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Barrow left fielder Dave Turner, facing Mike Huerta, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Frosties the 3-2 win.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Rodríguez.
