Alex Rivas never let New Orleans get something going. The Baltimore right-hander commanded his change up in pitching the Blue Claws to a 6-1 win. Dhataki Chandrasekaran earned the save for Baltimore, his 1st of the year. Baltimore is now 13-6.

Baltimore second baseman Hector Diaz helped the Blue Claws to the win. In the top of the second inning, the 23-year old second baseman stroked a run-scoring double. For the game, Diaz went 1-4 with a double.

"Good win for us," said Diaz. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
