With third baseman Justin Bishop leading the charge, the Baltimore Blue Claws defeated the San Angelo Mustangs, 4-2, at Old Bay Park. Bishop went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. Juan Hurtado got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. Ramón Martínez got credit for the save for Baltimore. It was his 2nd of the year.

Justin Goldstein contributed to the Blue Claws cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single, giving Baltimore the lead.

After the game, Baltimore manager Bernard Jacq applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

The Blue Claws, now 12-6, have been red hot.
