Knights Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start
The Boise Bloodhounds and Kingwood Knights brought some excitement to Grand Canyon Valley Park.

Hirofumi Ishibashi was instrumental in his team's 8-1 triumph over the Boise Bloodhounds. The right fielder went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Kingwood Knights. Matt Fernandez, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings.

Ishibashi had a key at-bat for Kingwood early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was his 35th hit of the season and gave Kingwood an early 1-0 lead.

Boise manager Nick Brown said his team was "out of sync."
