Victory Pushes Texans Record to 29-20
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Dallas Texans and the Georgia Grays, Matt Quinlan was the difference-maker. The Dallas right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. Adrien Clément recorded the save for Dallas, his 19th of the season. With the win, Dallas goes to 29-20, while the Grays fall to 18-33.
Shunso Kichida's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for Dallas. Coming to bat with one out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Dallas trailing 1-0, the left fielder grounded out, driving in 1 run.
"Feels good to get the job done," Quinlan said after the game.
