Pelicans Get 4-2 Win Versus Palm Beach
The St. Petersburg Pelicans got a stellar effort from pitcher Vincente Cerni, helping St. Petersburg score a 4-2 win over the visiting Palm Beach Bums. Junichiro Kobayashi finished to wrap up his 1st save. Palm Beach, at 4-11, is off to a poor start in 2032.

Bill Riel contributed to the Pelicans cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run, giving St. Petersburg the lead.

"Vincente was pounding the zone," said St. Petersburg manager Clement Snow.
