Bloodhounds Get Past Nichols for 8-7 Win
The Boise Bloodhounds eked out a 8-7 win versus the Nichols Gnats at The Pond. Nobody did more than third baseman Jesús García, who captured player of the game honors. Pete Tupper finished the game for Boise and earned his 5th save. The Gnats fall to 6-10 and continue their uneven start to the 2032 season.

In the top of the seventh inning of a 5-5 tie, Boise catcher David Pierce hit a run-scoring single. It broke the deadlock and put Boise on top, 6-5.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Nichols manager Reese O'Higgins. "But we decided not to take it."
