Glennon Leads Charge, Nichols Blasts Bloodhounds
The Nichols Gnats got production from their entire lineup in an easy 13-3 win over the Boise Bloodhounds. Player of the game honors went to center fielder Dermott Glennon. Glennon, who is tied for 9th in the BOL in total bases with 28, went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Nichols reliever Matt Walker, now 2-0. The loser was Roberto Duran. The Bloodhounds fall to 5-10 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2032 season.

In the bottom of the second inning, Nichols got a break when Glennon went to the plate. With no outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Gnats leading 4-0, Glennon hit a 3-run home run.

"We got our butts kicked," said Boise manager Nick Brown.
