The Coney Island Cyclones got a magnificent effort from pitcher António Domínguez, who kept Chippewa hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Cyclones win at The Reservation. Jamie Morgan earned the save, his 3rd, for the Cyclones. With the loss, Chippewa drops to 2-9.
Domínguez tossed 85 pitches over 6 innings to clinch the win for the Cyclones. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 10 strikeouts in the game.
"António had electric stuff," said Coney Island manager Gerald Pugh.
