Armada Get One-Run Win at New York
Fans who gathered at Don Corleone Park saw a good contest between the Quebec Armada and New York Mafia.

Quebec pitcher Adhipa Vemireddy did his part in helping his team beat the New York Mafia, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The losing skid has reached 8 games for New York.

Matsudaira Shimada said the idea of hitting a home run barely crossed his mind when he came to bat in the top of the seventh. Shimada belted a solo home run to stake Quebec to a 3-2 lead. His 3rd home run of the season came off New York pitcher Mehmood Dar.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Vemireddy.
