The St. Paul Saints had no problem beating the Charleston Panthers, 14-3, at Saints Ballpark. T.J. Oster led the way. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for St. Paul. The winner was Alejandro Sandoval in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Gabe Loza took the loss. Losses have been rare for the Panthers, who are now 5-2.

Also pitching in was St. Paul shortstop Eddie Govin, who hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, Govin went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
