Glennon Excels in Nichols Win
Gnats center fielder Dermott Glennon put his stamp on his team's 8-6 win over the Victoria Vikings. Glennon went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Nichols in the contest. The Gnats, with just their 2nd win in 7 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Jesus Villanueva had a nice at-bat for the Gnats with two out in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, the second baseman got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run, which would prove important in the Nichols win.

In postgame comments to the Nichols Daily News, Glennon said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
