Tree City turned a good effort from starter Lourenço Perry into a win over the Eugene Emeralds at The Nut House. The final score was 3-0. With the win, Tree City elevates its record to 4-1.
Tree City grabbed a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fifth when Miguel Pacheco hit a solo home run. For the day, Pacheco was 1-3 with a home run.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Tree City skipper James Lee.
