The Brisbane Bush Wackers stymied the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 6-1, at Baylor Ballpark. Dan Thibodeau, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He hit 2 home runs for Brisbane. Jorge Rivera earned the save, his 1st, for the Bush Wackers. The win lifts Brisbane to a record of 2-1.

Early in the game, catcher Conrad Zijlstra had a run-scoring double for Brisbane. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Bush Wackers on top, 1-0.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Thibodeau said after the game.
