Black Squirrels Prevail, 7-6, Over Bethesda

Starting pitcher Ryan Davis pitched well enough to help the Tree City Black Squirrels beat the Bethesda Hornets by the score of 7-6. The Black Squirrels, now 2-1, have been playing some good baseball.
Had Guo-ning Siu not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Siu hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Black Squirrels.
"Ryan is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Tree City manager James Lee.
