Ninjas Topple Spartans as Ramos Shines
|
The Sandy Springs Spartans and New York Ninjas were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at The Coliseum.
New York second baseman Jesús Ramos made his presence felt in the 7-5 Ninjas triumph over the Sandy Springs Spartans. Ramos was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Ninjas are now 76-86, while the Spartans fall to 69-93.
New York grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Ramos hit a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Ninjas out in front, 3-0.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ramos said after the game.
