The exploits of designated hitter Elijah Brown helped the Rock River Rats defeat the Long Island Ducks, 4-1. Brown was 2-4 with a home run. The win was Colby Virella's in relief. His record improves to 6-0. Stuart Organ took the loss for Long Island. Getting the save was Kevin Crosby, his 30th.
