Multi-HR Game for Duncan in 4-2 Win
|
The Sandy Springs Spartans downed the New York Ninjas, 4-2, at The Coliseum. Justin Duncan led the way, going 2-for-3 for Sandy Springs. Tom Polk converted his 24th save in 29 tries. The Spartans saw their record improve to 68-92.
Duncan contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Sandy Springs in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Duncan took a changeup from Miguel García and stroked the home run to left-center. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Spartans to leap in front, 4-2.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Duncan told the Sandy Springs News.
