Lights Win at Atlantic City, 6-3
|
The Phoenix Lights stopped the Atlantic City Enforcers, 6-3, at Parliament Field. The Lights got a big game from Michael Pickersgill, who was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Seong-rae An got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed no runs on 5 hits in 4 innings. Paul Murat earned the save, his 17th, for the Lights.
Topan Alisjahbana helped out the Phoenix cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4 with a walk.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Pickersgill said.
Phoenix is now 88-72, while Atlantic City is 68-92.
