Storm Troopers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Wolverines
The San Antonio Storm Troopers downed the Wichita Wolverines, 8-5, in 10 innings. Ivan Nunez led the way, going 2-for-3 for San Antonio. The Storm Troopers raised their record to 72-86.

San Antonio third baseman Ron Wheaton had a game-changing at-bat in the top of the tenth. On a sinker from Pedro Galló, he launched a 3-run home run. It gave San Antonio a 8-5 lead.

In postgame remarks, Wheaton simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
