Javier Ballina pitched a near no-hitter in leading Boise to a 6-0 triumph over the Frisco Rams. Boise is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Ballina earned the win to move to 2-2. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 1 hits, striking out 7 and walking 1. The left-hander allowed the Rams few scoring opportunities.
