Jacksonville Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
|
It was a fun time at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards, where the Jacksonville Jacks and Vancouver Pioneers tangled.
The Vancouver Pioneers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Alejandro García, who stifled the Jacksonville offense en route to a 3-0 Pioneers win at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards. The Pioneers now have a record of 27-20.
Joe Young delivered a big hit for the Pioneers. The veteran left fielder belted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The longball put Vancouver on top, 3-0. Overall, Young went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
García said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
