The DeKalb Cornhuskers cruised to a 14-3 win over the Sandy Springs Spartans at The Corn Crib today. Bailey Povey led the way, going 3-for-4 for DeKalb. DeKalb reliever Hideyori Ohayashi picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Miguel Rodríguez took the loss. Sandy Springs's current losing streak has reached 4 games.

DeKalb took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Augusto Reyes stroked a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Cornhuskers.
