Boise Hawks starter Sean Nichols was in fine form against the Jacksonville Hellcats at Basque Block Field, leading his team to a 12-3 win. Sung-moon Lee was credited with the save for Boise, his 2nd of the season. After today's action, Boise sits at 84-71, while Jacksonville falls to 67-88.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Hawks had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when center fielder Pete Freeman hit a 2-run home run. The home run came off Enrique Galván and made the score 2-0, Hawks.
