The Riverside Red Bulls did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Youngstown Tune-Ups at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. Nobody did more than pitcher Daryl Walder, who captured player of the game honors. Earning his 24th save of the year was Lien-ying Mar. The first-place Red Bulls have a one-game lead in their division.

The Red Bulls beat the Tune-Ups with some clutch hitting. The single by Larry Jeffries in the top of the fifth is a good example. With two down, Jeffries gave his team the lead, 2-1, when he came through with the big hit.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Walder told the Riverside Observer.
