The Topeka Predators thumped the Cincinnati Snaps, 8-2, at The Field at Richmond. Jesús García was a big reason his team got the win. García was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The save was credited to Angel Chavez, his 2nd. The Predators saw their win-loss record go to 73-84. At the same time, the Snaps fell to 69-86.

In the bottom of the first, Hoo-gwo Qing hit a bases-clearing double for Topeka. The 14th double of the season for the Topeka designated hitter put the Predators on top, 4-1.
