In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

The Frisco Rams defeated the Riverside Red Bulls, 8-3, in Cory Lidle League action at Red Bull Stadium, with Frisco designated hitter Pedro Mercado named player of the game. Frisco reliever Callum Butler was credited with the win, to go to 6-2. Jiro Watanabe took the loss for Riverside.

Also having an impact was shortstop Doug O'Leary, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the fourth for Frisco. For the game, O'Leary went 2-5 with a triple. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," O'Leary said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

At 80-73, the Rams are currently 4th in the Cory Lidle League Lou Piniella League.
