Starting pitcher Kulapati Pandian pitched well enough to help the Bloomington Blazers beat the So Cal Republic by the score of 5-4. Bloomington is now 25-23, So Cal 23-26.
Yeijiro Sato struck a blow for the Blazers in the bottom of the sixth when he hit a 3-run home run. It put his team ahead, 5-2. For the game, Sato was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
