Beetlecats Deal Monarchs 8-2 Setback
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats thumped the Marysville Monarchs, 8-2, at Bloomfield Road. Jesus Escamilla was a big reason his team got the win. Escamilla went 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The Beetlecats now own a record of 67-83.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Bloomfield Road seemed to enjoy watching the Cory Lidle League action.

In comments to the Buzzard's Bay Citizen, Escamilla insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
