Shibata Shines in Rams Win
The Frisco Rams topped the Phoenix Lights, 9-2, with youngster Kunihiro Shibata playing a key role. Shibata went 2 for 2 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Rams in the win. The 4th-place Rams improved to 76-71.

Frisco left fielder Jerome Léonard staked his team to an early lead in the top of the second inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run with the bases loaded.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Michael Barnett.
